Managed Services are provided onsite for this Axiom client at its New York and London locations and remotely to other operational areas. Axiom delivers a suite of managed services for the trading environment including daily onsite support, move, add and change management and second level engineering support for TRIARCH.
Managed Services delivered to this client include support for distributed and non-distributed systems throughout the client’s trading enterprise. Axiom provides second level support for the TRIARCH system locally and remotely for non New York locations. Using remote connectivity, Axiom support technicians address and support users and manage outages for locations including South America .
Daily activities include real time systems monitoring, responding to any outage, determining severity and taking immediate action to remediate the problem. The support model includes all customer applications, all vendor-supplied products; real time market data feeds and distributed applications.
Project Support is included in the Axiom managed services agreement. These services include planning and implementation for moves, adds and changes. Axiom had a strategic role in the large-scale relocation of the client’s trading operations. This project required approximately one year of implementation. Axiom played a key role in planning and implementation to assure that mission critical timelines were met and that services were available and reliable for traders. This included design, vendor management and deployment.
Market Data Administration is an additional service, which provides analysis and reporting on the global market data spends. This is a strategic component of the managed services that provides the client with real time understanding of the trends in spending, gaps in inventory information and usage reporting. Information is extrapolated from inventory management systems, summarized consolidated for presentation to senior management and the applicable business units.
Market Data Contract Administration services delivered to this Axiom client consists of a full range of contract mangement including a comprehensive review of existing contracts and an analysis of the “current state”. Following contract review Axiom implemented a central contracts database to manage all of the Market Data contracts. This database was built using the Contracts Module of the MDM management system. Axiom provided a four-phase approach to establish a global contracts management model, fully managed and largely automated. The first objective was to establish a New York based centralized management structure for administering all contracts. This centralization has and still is providing a method for leveraging the Bank’s contracts globally and providing a means for direct implementation of strategic market data initiatives.
